We were thrilled to find out today that we were shortlisted as one of three for Ticketing Biz of the Year at the 2021 TMN Tinnies awards.
The Music Network’s annual business awards focus on the key players in the Australian live events industry, celebrating those that are doing their bit to support and future-proof the industry for generations to come.
It’s been a tremendous year for Event Genius down under, not least being involved in April’s edition of Day For It Festival, which was a key moment in the return of live events. We were incredibly proud to power the event’s ticketing and access control, helping bring together over 2,000 music fans after months without any live events.
Over the course of the past year we managed to increase sales for Australian events by over 1,500%, serving even more local music fans through partnerships with a number of the country’s most esteemed promoters and events, including Finely Tuned (Lost Paradise, Lost Sundays), Untitled (Wildlands Weekender, Grapevine Gathering), Fostered Events (Day For It), For the Love, Origin Fields and more.
It’s an honour to have the hard work of our constantly-expanding Australian team recognised – not least given the unique challenges of the past 18 months – and we’re hugely excited to see what the industry has in store in 2022.
