Event Genius unveil new identity, website & COVID-ready platform

In August 2019, we joined forces with Festicket, the world’s largest platform for music festival experiences and set about a journey to become the most complete end-to-end live events platform for fans and organisers alike.

Today marks an important milestone in this journey as we:

•  Launch the brand new Event Genius website. 
•  Reveal a new set of top-level COVID-ready B2B solutions (egTicketing, egMarketing, egTravel, egAccess, egPay) to help you better manage your events. 
•  Get an exciting new look! Aligning the logos and brands of Event Genius and Ticket Arena within the Festicket family.

When we joined forces with Festicket back in 2019 we made some big promises... We told you that we would create “the most complete offering in the live entertainment industry” and that “the platform would bring together technology and expertise including ticketing, accommodation, travel & packages, marketing, data insights & analytics, access control, POS and cashless payment services, fan engagement tools and more...” 

Over the past year, our teams have been working hard to achieve this, with multiple integration projects all working in tandem to bring the best of what Event Genius, Ticket Arena and Festicket offered separately, together under one platform. All of the great features and services that we used to offer through our separate brands, now live and operate within our new B2B solutions: egTicketing, egMarketing, egTravel, egAccess, egPay.

Collating all our exciting ticketing functionality including Payment Plan and Pay with Friends, white-label ticketing, reserved seating, box office POS, mobile reporting, intuitive new look dashboards, newly launched COVID-secure functionality including track and trace and much more.

We’ve always had a 360 degree view on marketing and now more so than ever. egMarketing  will help you reach new audiences no matter the type of the events you run, and no matter where you run them. Drawing on our new combined Ticket Arena and Festicket audiences, increased automation, international expansion and new channels including Facebook Messenger and affiliate marketing, our offering is second to none in the industry.

The Coronavirus pandemic has given our travel teams space to concentrate on how to integrate this Festicket speciality into the Event Genius platform in a way that will serve the needs of the industry post-COVID. Looking ahead to when travel restrictions are lifted and audiences return to their favourite international events, we - alongside our 4500+ travel partners - will be ready to help you offer fans truly unique, memorable and COVID-secure experiences.

Another product update sees our access control solution, Entry Genius, rebranded as egAccess. This isn’t just a facelift though. Alongside a host of updates including an integration with our newly developed track and trace technology, we’ve invested in a fleet of all new extra robust hardware and created an industry-leading COVID-secure unmanned self-service ticket scanning terminal.

As an industry leader in cashless technology for events, we’re always looking for ways to take our solutions to the next level. So alongside a branding update that sees Event Genius Pay become egPay, we have now added our new Contactless solution, allowing you to go cashless accepting payments via bank card, Apple and Google Pay. The perfect solution for events where a full RFID/NFC cashless solution isn’t viable.
