Whether for holidays like Christmas, Valentine’s Day or Halloween, as part of the increasingly globally significant Black Friday and Cyber Monday, or more general limited time promotions, we know that at some point during a campaign, many event organisers will want to offer discounts on tickets to their fans and potential customers.
So in keeping with our commitment to giving egTicketing users all the tools they need to manage their campaign, we’ve now made it incredibly simple to create these discounts, so that event promoters and organisers can easily generate discount codes and run their own promotions at any time across the sales period.
Through the Discounts tab of the self-service Event Genius platform, egTicketing users are now be able to:
• Create and edit either percentage or fixed value discounts using custom discount codes.
• Apply discount campaigns to specific events, ticket groups, and individual ticket types.
• Set custom time periods for discounts and promotions.
• View and manage all discount campaigns – including active, scheduled and inactive codes.
• Restrict code usage and limit how many orders are eligible.
• View usage stats for all discount campaigns.
